About
NAVY BLUE
Navy blue started playing classical flute at a young age and pursued with vocals, piano and percussion. In her teens, she got hooked on jazz while working at her family's bar, the prestigious jazz club "New Morning" in Geneva. While visiting the club, Art Blakey’s manager inspired her to attend Berklee College of Music to develop her jazz and pop techniques. She produced her first album “Difference” featuring original pop songs in 1999 in the US.
Back in Geneva Navy Blue joined the United Nations jazz ensemble as a jazz vocalist in 2017. Her latest album “In Difference” is a repertoire of some of her favorite jazz songs.
Featuring Michel Bastet on piano, Kosuke Omagari on bass, Joel de Souza on drums.
